Hi, I'm Paul. I created Ironworks Technology to give business owners a safe, straightforward place to talk about technology, AI and change without jargon, pressure or the fear of making an expensive mistake.
Why Ironworks
Technology should give people confidence, not make them feel excluded.
I have spent more than 25 years working where business and technology meet. As CIO at Berkmann Wine Cellars and Head of Technology at Bordeaux Index, I have led teams, shaped technology roadmaps, managed suppliers and budgets, and advised boards on investment and risk. My work has covered cloud, cybersecurity, business systems, data and AI as well as practical tools for everyday operational problems.
One thing has remained constant: most organisations do not struggle because they lack technology. They struggle because the choices feel confusing, the risks feel high and nobody has taken the time to explain what really matters.
Ironworks is my answer to that. Through fractional CIO & CTO leadership, I can bring that senior experience into your business without a full-time appointment. Ironworks is founder-led, practical and deliberately personal. You work directly with me, and we move at a pace that feels manageable for your business.
